Aguada & Chapora Forts: Aguada Fort & Chapora Fort are close-by the Baga Beach. Both of these forts have Portuguese imprints. Fort Aguada offers excellent view of Arabian Sea.

Baga Retreat House: It is situated on the top of the Baga Hill and dedicated to St. Francis Xavier. The trek to the ‘retreat house’ is a pleasant meandering through beautiful natural landscape. Observing sunset over Arabian Sea from Baga Retreat House is a pleasant experience.

October to February is the best time to visit Baga Beach in Goa. October is the beginning of winter season. December, January and February are the peak months. A large cache of foreign tourists reach Goa for leisure vacation. The rainy days, known as Monsoon season, commences from July and lasts till September. How to Reach Baga Beach

Goa, one of the smallest states in India, is connected with all major Indian cities and several countries with direct flights. Goa International Airport is located in Dabolim, located 29 km from Panjim, the capital city of Goa. Baga Beach is 48 km away from Dabolim. On arrival at Dabolim, one can hire a cab and reach Baga Beach in an hour. Baga Beach can be reached by train. One can step down at either Vasco da Gama Station (43 km) or Thivim Railway Station (20 km) or Madgaon Railway Station (52 km) and easily book a taxi to reach Baga Beach. Baga Beach, located merely 20 km away from Panjim, can easily be reached by car, taxi and bus.
