Udaipur fascinates tourists in several ways – visiting historical monuments, cruising on lakes, walking through narrow alleys, exploring local market and
observing unique cultural shades. Enjoying boat ride in the lakes is weather dependent as in summer season, especially during May & June, the water level recedes
making boating unfeasible. Historical monuments, though, can be visited in all weather conditions. Visitors visit the City Palace (which includes a museum),
the Lake Palace (Jag Niwas), the Monsoon Palace, the Jagdish Temple, Moti Magri (site decorated with a statue of Maharana Pratap sitting on his horse Chetak,
in tribute to the Battle of 'Haldighati, which dominates the city) and the Jag Mandir. The Bagore Ki Haveli, the Vintage & Classic Car Collection (possession of the maharaja),
the Government Museum and the Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum are also worth visiting. Visitors are suggested not to leave the city without going to the Saheliyon-ki-Bari
(a park with many fountains) and the Gulab Bagh and its zoo.
