Panna National Park can be a wildlife tour destination during any time except the time from July to September as during these months safaris are not arranged due to monsoon. The best time to visit the park is November to March as it is an open area and these months are cooler and conducive, keeping in mind Indian environment. Safaris are not arranged on Wednesday evening and during festivals.

Panna National Park Elephant Safari Ticket: Elephant safari cost is fixed but is not carried out during July to September, as the park remains closed for the visitors.

Safety Suggestions: As one is not familiar with the roads of the park, it is compulsory to accompany a guide for visiting the sanctuary. A slow drive is advised for the safety of animals. Avoid smoking and lighting of fire. Do not step out of the vehicle other than the set areas suggested by guide. Consult your guide for a good experience as he can give all the answers of you queries about what you want to see. Perfumes and smelly oil are advised to be avoided as those can attract honey bees.
