Day 1

Arrival in Mumbai

On arrival at Mumbai, an Optima Travels representative meets you at the airport and transfers you to the pre-booked hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 2

Mumbai

Having relished delicious breakfast, proceed on to visit classic sites of Mumbai, considered to be the gateway of India. The day-long sightseeing includes Elephanta Caves, Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan & Dhobi Ghat. Located 11 km away on Gharapuri Island, Elephanta Caves have been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the year 1987. These caves are a magnificent specimen of rock-cut art and architecture of ancient times. Most of these cave temples, built during 5th to 7th century, are dedicated to Lord Shiva. A group of two caves is related to Buddhism. The Gateway of India is a historical monument built during the 20th century in India. It is located on the banks Arabian Sea in Mumbai. The Gateway of India is also known as the Taj Mahal of Mumbai. It is one of the famous attractions in Mumbai city and attracts tourists from all across the globe. Mani Bhawan, a museum preserving memoirs and works of Mahatma Gandhi, is one of the sought-after places to visit in the commercial capital of India. Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai is a prime attraction for a foreign tourist. It is the largest open-air laundry in the world. About 140 years ago, the washer-men community built it. While the washer-men are at work here, Dhobi Ghat offers an amazingly colorful spectacle. Overnight stay is scheduled in Mumbai hotel.

Day 3

Mumbai to Udaipur

After breakfast, you will be in-time transferred to Mumbai airport to board flight to Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Late afternoon, you shall be taken for a cruise drive in Lake Pichola to view Jag Niwas (iconic Lake Palace) and Jag Mandir. Jag Niwas, a beautiful palace turned into luxury heritage hotel, and Jag Mandir, a marble palace on an island, in Lake Pichola are viewed from close quarters during cruise. After enjoying sunset view of Lake Pichola, return to Udaipur hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

Udaipur

After breakfast, full day sightseeing tour will commence. It will comprise visit to historic City Palace, a stunning marble complex that offers enchanting views of Lake Pichola and its surroundings. It is the largest palace complex in India and boasts of Rajputana architecture. Stroll through the Saheliyon Ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour. Beautiful fountains, lush greenery, sprawling courtyards, colorful garden etc charm a visitor. Thereafter, continue to the Crystal Gallery in Fateh Prakash Palace. In the evening, visit Bagore ki Haveli to have a peep into rich Rajput legacy, to enjoy a puppet show and optionally to have dinner therein. Overnight stay is scheduled in Udaipur hotel.

Day 5

Udaipur - Jaipur

After breakfast, in-time you will be transferred to Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur to board Jaipur-bound flight. On arrival at the capital city of Rajasthan, you will be received by our representative and taken to the pre-booked hotel to check –in. After relaxing a bit, proceed on for exploring major highlights of the Pink City of the desert state of India. Visiting City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and attending evening aarti in Govind Dev Ji Temple are on the chart of today’s sightseeing. The entire complex of City Palace is divided into numerous courtyards, gardens and buildings. The museum within the City Palace contains textiles like royal attires, products of Sanganeri block prints, silk sarees and garments of Kashmiri pashmeena. Jantar Mantar is an open air solar observatory with an open array of astronomical instruments. Another historical and iconic monument of Jaipur to be visited today is the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, a sandstone façade built for the royal women to view street life without being seen by the passers-by. Lately, attend evening aarti (deity worship ceremony) in Govind Dev Ji Temple. Overnight stay is scheduled in Jaipur hotel.

Day 6

Jaipur

After breakfast, proceed on for full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur that includes visit to Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Panna Meena Ka Kund, Central Museum and Birla Temple. The mammoth Amber Fort & Palace Complex is built of red sandstone and marble. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within the complex, there is a Jai Mandir or Hall of Glory with its famous Sheesh Mahal- the Hall of Mirror. Jaigarh Fort is home to the world's largest cannon on wheels, the Jaivana. Jaigarh Fort has many wide water channels, which were a part of a rainwater harvesting system. The Central Museum, also called Albert Hall, is a fine example of Indo- Saracenic architecture. It displays a vast collection of metal-ware, ivory carving, jewelry, textile, pottery, and wood carving and sculpture and paintings. Late afternoon, explore colorful local market of Jaipur. Overnight stay is scheduled in Jaipur hotel.

Day 7

Jaipur – Agra

After breakfast, you will be driven to Agra, erstwhile capital of the Mughal kingdom. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Late afternoon, you will be taken to Taj Mahal to watch it glowing in soft orange colour of the setting sun. It is supposed to be the perfect setting for a photography aficionado. Later, return to hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 8

Agra (Visions of the Taj Mahal)

You will be taken to Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise when the rising sun lends a warm pink tint to its marble face, turning the mausoleum stunningly beautiful. Having spent about two hours, return to Agra hotel to refresh and relish delicious breakfast. Late morning, accompanied by professional Agra tour guide, visit Agra Fort, Baby Taj and Mehtab Bagh. Agra Fort, built by Akbar, houses several beautiful buildings, added by Jahangir and Shah Jahan. The fort was once the prison of Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal after the death of his beloved wife. After visiting Agra Fort, proceed on to watch tomb of It Mad ud Daulah (Baby Taj), a precursor of and inspiration for Taj Mahal. Late afternoon, you will be taken to Mehtab Bagh across River Yamuna to have rear view of Taj Mahal at the light of setting sun and observe beautiful reflection of the Taj Mahal in Yamuna. In the evening, explore colorful local market before coming back to hotel to have overnight stay.

Day 9

Agra – Khajuraho

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra railway station to board Jhansi-bound train. Depart by express train to Jhansi. After lunch, drive for Khajuraho, a town in Madhya Pradesh and known all over the world for its intricately carved Kamasutra temples. On arrival, check in at the hotel to relax for a while. In the evening, attend sound & light show / cultural show. Overnight stay is scheduled in Khajuraho hotel.

Day 10

Khajuraho – Panna National Park

After breakfast, proceed on a guided sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples, divided into three clusters – western, eastern and southern. The temples of Khajuraho offer one-in-lifetime opportunity to see various aspects of life — joy, love, divinity, war — depicted in detail on every inch of its 21 Hindu and Jain temples. Post-lunch, continue your drive to Panna National Park, a tiger reserve. It offers an excellent opportunity to stay in a wilderness resort and explore India’s wildlife. Overnight stay is scheduled in Panna National Park.

Day 11

Panna National Park

The whole day is dedicated to explore wildlife of Panna National Park. Get up early in the morning to proceed on a game drive (jungle safari), boarding a four-wheel-drive vehicle, to spot royal Bengal tigers. During the search of an elusive ‘big cat’, you will happen to see deers, leopards, bears, crocodiles etc. During the course of safari, have an insider view by meeting Pardhi members, a nomadic community that played very positive role in ensuring repopulating Panna National Park with the Bengal tiger. Learn how a successful conservation program has grown the park’s tiger population, increasing the odds of a sighting. Late morning, return to jungle lodge to relax and have lunch. Late afternoon, again enjoy game drive. Overnight stay is scheduled in Panna National Park.

Day 12

Panna National Park – Khajuraho - Varanasi

Having enjoyed scrumptious breakfast, depart for Khajuraho to board Varanasi-bound flight. Varanasi is an ancient city and finds place in holy & historical ‘saptpuri’ of India. Varanasi, home to more than a thousand temples and shrines, is sacred to Hindus and Buddhists. On arrival at Varanasi, check in at the hotel to relax. Early evening, you will be taken to Dashashwamedh Ghat on the banks of River Ganga. Enjoy rhythmic drumming, chanting of prayers and lantern-bearing priests bidding the gods and goddesses a restful slumber during magnanimous Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay is scheduled in Varanasi hotel.

Day 13

Varanasi – New Delhi

Get up early in the morning for private sunrise cruise along the Ganga ghats of Varanasi. During the boat ride, keep observing the religious rites of the locals and pilgrims. By taking bath the devotees cleanse themselves, literally and spiritually. After cruise ride, enjoy a heritage walk covering the region known as Vishwanath Khand that is marked by narrow lanes, buzzing bazaars, auspicious temples, and lively ghats. Later, fly to Delhi.

Day 14

Exploring Old & New Delhi

After breakfast, proceed on a full day guided sightseeing tour of Delhi that includes famous and historical monuments like Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament & Akshardham Temple. During the course of exploring old Delhi, enjoy an exciting rickshaw ride through the carts and stalls of Chandni Chowk bazaar, one of the oldest and busiest markets. Overnight stay is scheduled in Delhi hotel.

Day 15

Depart Delhi

Transfer to the airport early this morning for your flight home.

We would require 50% advance payment to secure your bookings and process the file. We accept bank transfers and payment by credit cards through PAYPAL international payment gateway only. Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.
