Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

You will be received by our representative at Indira Gandhi International Airport New Delhi on arrival in India. You will be welcomed in traditional Indian way, taken care of and transferred to your hotel to have overnight stay.

Day 2

Delhi tour

Post-breakfast, accompanied with professional local guide, commence the sightseeing tour of Delhi. The whole day is devoted to sightseeing of various iconic monuments, exploration of famous markets and discovering many facets of Delhi. Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, a Sikh temple in the heart of Delhi, is the first religious monument to be visited. Langar, a free kitchen, needs to be seen here. Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandani Chowk in Shahjahanabad (old Delhi) are next prime attractions of Delhi to be watched. These Mughal monuments are explored in detail. Chandni Chowk shopping arcade is visited on a manually-pulled rickshaw. Akshardham Temple, built in conventional Nagar style of temple architecture on the banks of River Yamuna, is a must-see monument to be visited. Visiting Akshardham Temple will be a mesmerizing experience. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will take a scenic tour to see India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan. Day 3

Delhi – Jaipur –Jaipur sightseeing

After having breakfast, depart for Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. On reaching Jaipur, you will be directly transferred to the hotel to check in, have lunch and relax a bit, before proceeding on a guided Jaipur city tour. Three most famous monuments of Jaipur city – City Palace, Hawa Mahal & Jantar Mantar will be visited in enlightened company of Jaipur tour guide. Late afternoon, visit happening market of Jaipur. Shopping in Jaipur will really exhilarate you. The topping on the cake will be the Aarti in Govind Dev Ji temple. This deity worship ceremony is held every evening. Overnight stay is scheduled in Jaipur.

Day 4

Jaipur tour

Extensive Jaipur, accompanied by a professional guide, awaits today. After breakfast, proceed towards Amber, the hilly terrain where lies grand Amber Fort. The fort is situated on the top of a hill and is reached by riding on an elephant’s back. The intact fort will make you discover its labyrinths of courtyards, gardens inhabited by the monkeys, rooms & walls of mosaics, Palace of Glass (Sheesh Mahal) and temple dedicated to Kali. Climb up further to another cliff by car and visit Jaigarh Fort, a war fortress and known for largest canon in the world, demolished foundry and weapons’ museum. Move for Jaipur city. On the way, stop in front of Jal Mahal to snap few photographs of the palace, located amidst a lake. Have lunch in a nice restaurant of Jaipur and visit Central Museum, previously called as Albert Hall. Late afternoon, visit Birla Temple, dedicated to the deities Vishnu and Lakshmi. Day 5

Jaipur – Abhaneri- Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Leisurely have scrumptious breakfast in the hotel and depart for Agra to pass through Abhaneri village in Dausa district of Rajasthan and Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted Mughal city of 16th century. Abhaneri, once a flourishing capital of Gurjar king Mihir Bhoj, has now reduced into a non-descript village but houses world famous ancient Chand Baori & Harshat Mata Temple, belonging to 8th century AD. On arrival, check in at Agra hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Agra city tour

Agra tour guide will meet you in hotel’s lobby early in the morning, in the dawn hours, to take you to the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal, a famous mausoleum, is the 7th Wonder of the World. It was built in 1630 during the reign of Shah Jahan following the loss of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. You will be a witness to unparalleled beauty of Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise. Every minute and significant aspect of Taj Mahal’s history, making and architecture will be detailed by the guide. Return to hotel to refresh, have breakfast and relax for a while. After breakfast, you will visit the Agra Fort on the banks of the Yamuna River with spectacular panoramic views. Agra Fort was the residence of the Mughal rulers. Have lunch in a nice city restaurant. Spend some time the happening market of Agra, known for marble articles built by artisans. See yourselves artisans at work. Day 7

Agra – Jhansi-Orchha- Khajuraho

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra railway station to board train for Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi, you will be received by our representative. Accompanied by local tour guide, visit historical town of Orchha, known for its rustic ambience, Orchha Fort Palace complex and Raja Ram Temple. The medieval city of Orchha with its palaces and temples built during the 16th and 17th centuries under the Bundela dynasty are major tourist attractions. Have lunch in restaurant on the bank of River Betwa and drive for Khajuraho. Reach by evening to Khajuraho to be directly transferred to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8

Khajuraho temples tour - Varanasi

After breakfast, a guided tour of Western Group of Khajuraho temples will be conducted. Temples of Khajuraho are UNESCO World Heritage sites and are known for their erotic sculptures, inspired by Kamasutra, an ancient Indian Sex-Book authored by sage Vatsyayan. Return to hotel, have lunch and in time transfer to the airport to board flight for Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Late afternoon, you will visit the temple of Bharat Mata and reach Dashashwamedh Ghat on the Ganges, sacred river, to attend the AARTI ceremony. Return to hotel later in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 9

Varanasi city tour – Delhi - Departure

The second day sightseeing of Varanasi will commence too early in the morning. At the time of sunrise, departure along with Varanasi tour guide for a boat ride on the sacred river the Ganges to observe the ritual baths, daily activities, religious rituals etc on the ghats of Benares. It's a moving moment and an unforgettable experience. Come back to hotel for enjoying buffet breakfast.
