Samode should be visited for its palace hotel - Samode Palace, a nice blend of Rajput & Mughal architectural styles. The Samode Palace has been well restored till date. Rawal Shiv Singh, who was the Prime Minister of Jaipur principality during the mid-19th century, gave his most fabulous complement to the palace - the Darbar Hall, largely hand painted and the dominant gallery, which forms Sheesh Mahal. Samode Palace was transformed into a high-end hotel of Rajasthan in 1987.
