How to Reach Pushkar

Located 10 km from Ajmer, Pushkar is the important temple city in Rajasthan, locally known as Tirthraj (King of Pilgrimages). Brahma Temple is the top-most tourist attraction in Pushkar. To Reach Pushkar by Road: Pushkar is a town in Ajmer (ancient name Ajai Meru) district and located merely 13 km from district headqurter. Pushkar can be reached by car from Ajmer in half an hour. From Jaipur, it hardly takes two hours to reach this temple city of Rajasthan. Pushkar is well connected by road routes with major cities and tourist destinations in Rajasthan.

To Reach Pushkar by Train: Ajmer is the nearest railhead to Pushkar. It is connected with all major cities across India by tain. On arrival at Ajmer railway station, one can reach easily to Pushkar by hiring a cab or bus. Ajmer Shatabdi Express is the most preferred train to reach Pushkar by train from Delhi.

To Reach Pushkar by Air: Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan and known as Pink City of Rajasthan, is the nearest airport to Pushkar. Jaipur has got excellent connectivity with all the major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jodhpur and Udaipur.
