Madan Mohan Temple is the oldest temple of Karauli and dedicated to Lord Krishna, sitting on a huge silver swing. The temple structure is replete with wonderful carvings and architecture. Situated in an idyllic setting, it is a bit away from the bussling city, amidst a vast expanse of garden. The evening Aarti in Madan Mohan Temple is mesmerizing and thronged by thousand of devotees daily. Photography is not permitted but entry into the temple is allowed to all and sundry. The statue of Madan Mohan ji was brought from Vrindavana in the similar circumstances as that of Govind Dev ji temple in Jaipur. The aarti ceremony at both the temples, Govind Dev ji and Madan Mohan ji, is performed in the similar manner as it is done in Raja Ram Temple of Orchha.
