Day 1

Arrival at Bhubaneswar – Puri

On arrival at Bhubaneswar railway station / airport, our cab driver will receive the guests and head towards Puri, the seat of Lord Jagannath Temple. As you reach Puri, you will be directly transferred to the pre-booked hotel to spend the rest of the day in leisure at Puri beach and have overnight stay.

Day 2

Puri – Shri Jagannath Temple ‘darshan’ – Konark – Puri

The ‘darshan’ and ‘puja’ commences from 5 AM. So, depending upon your choice, you can be taken to Shri Jagannath Temple before or after the breakfast. After doing ‘darshan’ and performing ‘puja’, proceed on an excursion of Konark. During this excursion, the guests visit Dhaulagiri, Ramchandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach and Konark Sun Temple. Late afternoon, drive back to Puri to enjoy the evening on splendid sea beaches. Overnight stay is scheduled in Puri hotel.

Day 3

Puri – Barkul (Chilika Lake)

After breakfast, depart for Barkul where Chilika Lake is located. Chilika Lake is the largest sweetwater lake in Asia. Enjoy a boat ride in the lake. Watch migratory birds following you. Spot the dolphins. You can also visit the Kalijai Temple, situated in the middle of the lake. Overnight stay is scheduled in Barkul hotel.

Day 4

Barkul – Maa Tara Tarini Temple - Gopalpur

After breakfast in the hotel, depart for Gopalpur. En route visit Maa Tara Tarini Temple. Upon arrival at Gopalpur, check in at the hotel to spend evening in leisure and have overnight stay.

Day 5

Chandragiri – Taptapaani - Gopalpur

After breakfast, you will be first taken to Chandragiri to visit the Buddhist monastery (approximately 80 km drive). Further proceed to Taptapaani to take a bath in hot water spring. Spend your time exploring the natural scenic beauty. Late afternoon, come back to Gpalpur to spend evening in leisure at sea beach. Overnight stay is scheduled in Gopalpur hotel.

Day 6

Gopalpur – Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha. On arrival at Bhubaneswar, check in at the hotel. Having relaxed and freshened up, proceed on for sightseeing of Bhubaneswar that includes visit to Lingaraj Temple, Rajarani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Parshurameshwaram Temple, Khandagiri & Udaigiri caves etc. Overnight stay is scheduled in Bhubaneswar hotel.

Day 7

Bhubaneswar - Departure

After breakfast in the hotel, you will be in-time dropped off at either Bhubaneswar airport or railway station. This is the end of your Splendid Odisha Tour.
