Next, travellers proceed to Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, where the echoes of the past resound within its vast courtyards. From here, the tour takes an exciting turn with a manually paddled rickshaw ride through the chaotic yet fascinating lanes of
Chandni Chowk . The labyrinthine alleys, brimming with traditional shops and street vendors, offer an unforgettable sensory experience.
A visit to India Gate, an iconic war memorial honouring fallen soldiers, follows. The journey then moves past the stately President House and Old Parliament, monuments that symbolize India’s colonial British legacy.
The final stop of the day is Akshardham Temple, a modern marvel of intricate carvings and spiritual enlightenment. As the sun sets, the temple’s mesmerizing light and water show captivates visitors. After a day of cultural immersion, travellers return to their hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
