Delhi Sightseeing - Agra
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you will set out for a full day of sightseeing in Delhi, a city rich with historical landmarks and cultural experiences. The sightseeing tour includes visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, India Gate, President House, old Parliament House, Akshardham Temple and Qutub Minar.
Your first stop will be Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh temples in Delhi. Renowned for its stunning architecture and the serene ambiance of its sacred pool, this gurudwara serves as a vital place of worship for the Sikh community. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the community kitchen (langar), where you can savor delicious vegetarian meals served to visitors, irrespective of their background.
Next, you will visit the majestic Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of India’s rich history. After the excitement of Chandni Chowk, head towards
India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War I. Stroll along Rajpath, where you can appreciate the grand architecture of the surrounding government buildings, including the
President’s House and
Parliament House. The area is perfect for a leisurely walk, allowing you to soak in the sights and sounds of New Delhi.
In the afternoon, visit the breathtaking Akshardham Temple, a modern architectural marvel that showcases Indian culture, spirituality, and heritage.
