The golden dome of the gurudwara and its holy Sarovar (pond) create a peaceful ambiance.
Next, you will proceed to the Red Fort , an architectural marvel built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. The fort’s massive red sandstone walls, stunning Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), and Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience) reflect the grandeur of the Mughal era. A short drive from the Red Fort takes you to Jama Masjid , India’s largest mosque, known for its magnificent domes and towering minarets.
From here, you will experience the charm of Old Delhi with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk , the city's oldest and busiest market. The narrow lanes are lined with shops selling traditional Indian attire, jewelry, spices, and delicious street food like parathas and jalebis. The ride offers a glimpse into Delhi’s vibrant culture and bustling life.
Post lunch, the tour continues to India Gate , a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. The towering arch stands majestically, offering a solemn yet picturesque sight. From here, you will drive past the President’s House and Old Parliament, witnessing the grandeur of Lutyens' Delhi, known for its well-planned architecture and broad avenues.
The last stop for the day is Qutub Minar , a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world. Built in the 12th century, its intricate carvings and inscriptions showcase Indo-Islamic artistry. The tour concludes as you return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
