Day 1

Delhi – Agra – sightseeing

Hereinafter, you will be transferred to Agra hotel to check in.

Agra Fort & market – New Delhi

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed on a guided visit to Agra Fort. Red Fort of Agra is a massive fortress built in 1565 by Mughal ruler Akbar on the right bank of River Yamuna. The fortress, with its 2.5 km long red sandstone walls rising above a moat and interrupted by graceful curves and slender bastions, encloses the imperial city of Mughal rulers. The wall has two gates, Delhi Gate and Amar Singh Gate. The original entrance, the most majestic one, is Delhi Gate which leads to an internal gate called Hathi Pol or door of elephants; however, the entrance to the fort is now only through Amar Singh Gate.

After visiting Agra Fort, explore local market known for marble products, carpets, jewelry etc. Shopping in Agra is a preferred pastime. Hereinafter, depart for New Delhi. On arrival, you will be transferred to either airport or hotel of your stay.
