About two dozen marble figures of the Tirthankaras, the founding saints of Jainism, more or less identical, create a serene atmosphere. The Hatheesing Temple houses 52 shrines and 11 deities. In addition to religious pilgrimage, Hatheesing temple is visited by tourists of all faiths to behold its marvelous architecture. It is said that about one and a half century back, the temple construction cost 10 lac rupees.
