Day 1

Arrival in Varanasi & Ganga Aarti

Earlier known as Kashi, Varanasi is one of the holiest cities for the Hindus. Throughout the year, unhindered stream of pilgrims and tourists keeps coming to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, you will be received and transferred to pre-booked hotel to relax. Late afternoon, you will be taken to Dashaswamedh Ghat on the River Ganga. Ganga is considered as mother goddess and worshipped daily. Ganga Aarti is performed every evening to express the gratitude towards Mother Ganga. A grand Ganga Aarti ceremony is carried out daily in Varanasi. It is attended by a large cache of divotees, pilgrims and tourists from all across the globe. The aarti is seen from the stone steps of the ghat and the boat pedestal in front of the aarti site. After attending magnanimous Ganga Aarti, return to Varanasi hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

Varanasi ghats & temples tour – Sarnath tour

Extensive Varanasi exploration on Varanasi Vindhyachal Prayagraj Tour will take place today. Early in the morning, at the time of dawn, you will be taken to Assi Ghat to attend Subah-e-Banaras for about an hour. Thereafter, board a boat to sail through along the ghats of Varanasi. Watch out cremation ghats & people performing bathing and religious activities. De-board the boat at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Ghat. Come back to hotel to have breakfast.

Now, proceed on for visiting famous temples in Varanasi. First you will be taken to Kashi Vishwanath , one of the ‘Dwadash Jyotirlinga’. Also visit Annapurna Devi Temple , located nearby. To reach Kashi Vishwanath on foot through narrow lanes, buzzing with activities, offers a feel of heritage walk in Varanasi. Hereinafter, visit Sankat Mochan Temple , BHU , Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple and Bharat Mata Temple .

Post- lunch, visit Sarnath, the site of Dharmachakrapravartan where Buddha delivered his first religious discourse in front of five disciples. Sarnath holds prominence in cultural, historic and pilgrimage tourism. Though the ancient Buddhist monastery is in rubbles but the Ashoka Pillar, Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamekh Stupa and archaeological museum still attract a large number of tourists. Return to Varanasi hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

Varanasi – Sita Samahit Sthal – Vindhyachal – Prayagraj

Soon after breakfast, drive towards Vindhyachal, the place of Vindhyavasini Temple. It is a ‘siddhapeeth’. Upon arrival at Vindhyachal, you will be directly taken to visit Vindhyavasini Devi Temple. Vindhyachal is part of Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The temple of Vindhyavasini Devi, the presiding deity of Vindhyachal, is located on the banks of the holy river Ganga. You can take holy dip in the Ganges. After finishing worship of the deity in the temple, proceed to Prayagraj.

On the way to Prayagraj, you will be taken to Sita Samahit Sthal (Sitamarhi). It is the very site where Mother Sita descended into the lap of Mother Earth. It is said that while Ram was preventing Sita, he could have hold of her hairs and that only remained with him. The still present hairs of Mother Sita in the temple at Sita Samahit Sthal are called Sitakesh and worshipped by the devotees. Hereinafter, continue your drive. On arrival at Prayagraj, you will be taken to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

Prayagraj tour - Departure

Prayagraj is an ancient city with immense religious significance for the Hindus since time immemorial. Known as the land of Lord Vishnu, Prayagraj is located on the banks of Ganga & Yamuna. It is famous for Triveni Sangam (confluence of holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna and mythical Saraswati), Kumbh Mela , Magh Mela , Akshay Vat, Bharadwaj Ashram etc. In 16th century, Mughal ruler Akbar changed its name to Allahabad. Recently, Government of Uttar Pradesh, led by Yogi Adityanath, has rechristened it again as Prayagraj.

After breakfast, you will be taken to Triveni Sangam. Take holy dip and perform religious rituals. Allahabad Fort overlooks the Sangam. Within the fort are Akshay Vat and Patalpuri Temple. During Magh Mela & Kumbh Mela, pilgrims are allowed to enter Allahabad Fort to visit the holy tree and temple. Nearby the ramparts of the fort is located Bade Hanuman Ji Temple. Visit the temple, have ‘darshan’ and do worship of Lord Hanuman. Thereafter, visit Mankameshwar Temple, established by "Aadi Guru Shankaracharya". After offering prayer and 'puja' in Mankameshwar Temple, move for visiting Anand Bhawan. Anand Bhawan has been famous for being birth place of Indira Gandhi and home of Nehru Gandhi family. The place has been witness of several secret meetings of Congress leaders to chalk out strategies to evict the British from India. Now-a-days, it has been converted into a museum. This place remains closed on Monday.

After sightseeing of Prayagraj, you will be transferred to railway station / airport for your onward journey.
