3 Days Varanasi Prayagraj Tour, also called Varanasi Allahabad Trip, is a crisp tour that encompasses all major highlights of two historically, religiously and culturally sacred cities of the Hindus – Varanasi & Prayagraj. Varanasi is called Shiv Nagari whereas Prayagraj is known as Vishnu Nagari. Situated on the banks of the sacred River Ganga, Varanasi garners immense religious significance for being home to Kashi Vishwanath, one of the Dwadash Jyotirlinga. Historical ghats, holy temples and traditional vibrant culture form the core of tourism in Varanasi. Sarnath in Varanasi is also a historical site, related to Buddhism. Sarnath houses a ransacked monastery, several Buddhist temples, Tibetan Buddhist monastery and an archaeological museum. Prayagraj, also known as Allahabad, is located on the banks of the rivers Ganga & Yamuna. The city is where Triveni Sangam is located. In Prayagraj, every twelve year Kumbh Mela and annually Magh Mela take place. Varanasi Prayagraj Tour is medium paced and can be customized as per unique travelers’ requirements and suggestions.

Day 1

Arrival in Varanasi – Ganga Aarti

The tour commences right after arrival in the cultural capital of India, Varanasi. You will be picked up from railway station / airport and transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Late afternoon, you shall be attending magnanimous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat on the banks of the holy river. In summer the aarti takes place from 7 PM to 7:30 PM. During winter season it takes place from 6 Pm to 6:30 PM. Enjoy the surge of spiritualism. Overnight stay is scheduled in Varanasi hotel.

Day 2

Boat ride in Ganga – Temple tour – Sarnath - Allahabad

Early in the morning, you shall be taken to Assi Ghat to attend Subah-e-Banaras for some time and ride a boat to sail along the ghats. Step out of the boat at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Thereafter, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Annapurna Temple. It will truly be a heritage walk through the lanes of Kashi. Now, proceed to visit BHU, Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple and Bharat Mata Temple. Return to hotel to refresh, relax, check out and proceed on to visit Sarnath, one of the Buddhist pilgrimages and where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to initiate Dharmachakrapravartana. By late afternoon, Varanasi sightseeing will be complete and you will be driven to Allahabad, now known as Prayagraj. On arrival at Prayagraj, check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

Allahabad tour - Departure

After breakfast, you shall be taken first to Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the three holy rivers of India – Ganga, Yamuna & invisible Saraswati. You can take a holy dip into Sangam and perform religious rites. Sangam is located quite close to Allahabad Fort. Adjacent to the fort’s wall is situated Bade Hanuman Ji Temple. Visit the holy shrine and do worship. From here, you will be taken to visit Alopi Devi Temple, one of the ‘siddhapeethas’. The last place to visit in Allahabad is Anand Bhawan, Jawahar Lal Nehru’s paternal house turned into museum. After exploring Prayagraj, you can be transferred to railway station / airport in Allahabad / Varanasi, depending upon your departure plan.

We would require 50% advance payment to secure your bookings and process the file. We accept bank transfers and payment by credit cards through PAYPAL international payment gateway only. Balance amount needs to be paid on arrival in India by cash, Traveller’s Cheques or credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to 4.88% bank fees.

Cancellation Terms:

50% cancellation if cancelled within 45 days.

75% cancellation if cancelled within 30 days.

100% cancellation if cancelled 15 day or less.
