Mumbai city tour
Soon after breakfast, proceed on for visiting historical & religious monuments, museums, markets and major highlights. Among the prominent attractions to be visited are Gateway of India , Prince of Wales Museum , Mani Bhawan, Victoria Terminus (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Railway Station), Nariman Point, Marine Drive, Chowpati Beach & Hanging Garden. Victoria Terminus is a fine example of British colonial era Victorian-Gothic style architecture and sculpture. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another monument of British time, Gateway of India was built to welcome King George V of England. It was the same place from where the last British troops departed after India’s independence. Marine Drive is three and a half kilometer long palm-lined boulevard along the semi-circle shaped sea bay. Built in Indi Sarsenic style, Prince of Wales Museum is a rich repertoire of heritage of India. Mani Bhawan is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. There will be several places like Dhobi Ghat, Dharavi, Crawford Market etc which you will see while driving past. Overnight stay is scheduled in Mumbai hotel.
