Call Of The Wild Tour

  7 Days / 6 Nights

Delhi – Chambal National Park – Agra – Bharatpur – Ranthambore - Jaipur

The dramatic variation in geography and climate seen across the subcontinent has resulted in India being blessed with a rich bio-diversity and nearly every kind of habitat. There's little to beat the excitement of watching a tiger stalk its prey or a flock of flamingoes burst into flight. For gharial hatchlings crawling to the river, elephants taking a bath and other heartwarming sights- indeed, for a ringside view of creation - come to the national parks and sanctuaries of India. The first concerted effort to protect this rich but rapidly depleting wildlife and habitat was made in 1972, when the Government of India passed a Wildlife Act, followed by the launch of project Tiger. Simultaneously, over the years, India has set up around eighty national parks and 440 wildlife sanctuaries. Here's the pick of the lot, but remember, it's but a taste of what this incredible country has to offer. Most parks and sanctuaries are open from October to March each year. Chambal National Park is primarily known for conserving ‘gharial’, Indian crocodile. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, one of the important wetlands in India, is a preferred habitat of migratory birds like Siberian Crane. Ranthambore National Park is known across the globe as a sanctuary of Royal Bengal Tigers. Call of The Wild Tour encompasses three national parks in north India. Chambal Ranthambore Bharatpur Tour involves boat, rickshaw and jeep safaris. In addition to exploration of wildlife sanctuaries, this tour lets you visit famous monuments of Agra like Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. Jaipur happens to be the last destination of the tour and offers you an opportunity not only to watch historical forts and palaces but also colourful markets and vibrant culture.
